When I first approached J. Michael Collins to discuss demo production, I was eager to make a big move in my voiceover career, to “level up” as they say. I had previously worked with J. Michael as a coach and was impressed by his deep knowledge of the VO industry, his ear for detail, and his ability to subtly tweak performances to bring out the best in his students. The entire demo creation experience was amazing: excellent coaching, brilliant script writing, and top-notch direction on recording days. All of the demos were delivered quickly, and the production values were second to none. Best of all, the process was fully collaborative. J. Michael took the time to listen to my input, incorporate my ideas into the finished products, and ensure that I was completely satisfied. The result? A whole suite of first-rate demos to add to my marketing toolbox, two Voice Arts Award nominations, and a place on the roster at WME. Not too shabby.
